A network of support
At LWP we understand that support comes in many forms, and that different families have different needs at different times. We are working to build a network of services, partners and organisations that work alongside us in our mission to support those living with Parkinson’s.
Meet Mitch: Personal Trainer supporting people with Parkinson’s
Mitch is a highly respected personal trainer based in Lanzarote, known for his calm, supportive approach and commitment to helping people move with confidence. He works one-to-one in members’ own homes, tailoring each session to individual needs, abilities, and how they are feeling on the day. With a strong understanding of Parkinson’s, Mitch focuses on improving strength and posture, balance and walking, mobility and flexibility, coordination, and everyday functional movement. Members already working with Mitch have reported improvements in confidence, stability, and overall wellbeing.
What truly sets Mitch apart is his patience and empathy. He creates a positive and encouraging environment, helping clients feel more capable and independent through safe, targeted exercise. We are delighted that Mitch is joining the LWP family, enhancing the support and services we are able to offer to our members living with Parkinson’s.
Meet Barbara Dziuban: Physiotherapist supporting people with Parkinson’s
Barbara Dziuban is an experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years in practice and a gentle, holistic approach to care. She understands that a Parkinson’s diagnosis can feel overwhelming and that everyone’s experience of the condition is different. Barbara works one-to-one with individuals, taking time to listen and understand their symptoms, concerns, and goals. Her sessions are personalised and focus on improving movement, balance, strength, and confidence, helping people feel safer and more in control in everyday life.
Physiotherapy can support people living with Parkinson’s by easing stiffness, improving mobility, and reducing the risk of falls. Barbara’s aim is to help members maintain independence and feel supported as they adapt to life with Parkinson’s. We are pleased to welcome Barbara to the LWP family, strengthening the support we can offer to members at every stage of their journey.
